These Terms of Use govern the use of the Quotely mobile app. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.
1. Purpose
Quotely is a mobile app that delivers a carefully selected inspirational quote every day. The app allows you to browse, save and share quotes.
2. Access to the service
The Quotely app is available for free on the App Store. Access to the service requires:
- A compatible device (iPhone or iPad)
- An internet connection for the initial download and content updates
- An up-to-date iOS operating system
3. Use of the app
By using Quotely, you agree to:
- Use the app in a manner consistent with its intended purpose
- Not attempt to modify, decompile or disassemble the app
- Not use the app for unlawful or unauthorised purposes
- Not disrupt the operation of the service
4. Intellectual property
All elements of the Quotely app (design, logo, interface, source code, database) are protected by intellectual property law and remain the exclusive property of Quotely.
The quotes featured in the app are attributed to their respective authors. Quotely strives to verify the authenticity and source of each quote.
5. Content and quotes
Quotely makes every effort to provide correctly attributed and verified quotes. However, we cannot guarantee the absolute accuracy of every attribution. If you notice an error, please contact us.
6. Sharing feature
Quotely allows you to share quotes as images on your social networks. By using this feature:
- You agree not to alter the attribution of the quote
- Sharing is done at your own responsibility
- Images generated by Quotely remain the property of Quotely in terms of design
7. Notifications
If you enable push notifications, Quotely will send you a daily quote at the time you have chosen. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings or within the app.
8. Limitation of liability
Quotely is provided "as is". We strive to ensure the availability and proper functioning of the app, but we do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted and error-free operation
- Compatibility with all devices
- The complete absence of bugs or malfunctions
Under no circumstances shall Quotely be held liable for indirect damages related to the use of the app.
9. App modifications
Quotely reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the app at any time, with or without notice. Updates may modify available features.
10. Changes to the Terms
These Terms of Use may be modified at any time. In the event of a material change, a notification will be displayed in the app. Continued use of the app after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Applicable law
These Terms of Use are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the competent courts shall be those of the jurisdiction of Quotely's registered office, unless otherwise required by law.
